Because hardwood is a natural material, color and grain will vary between boards, but a sample can help you evaluate the species, finish, texture and overall appearance before placing a larger order. Lead times vary based on the product, manufacturer and quantity ordered. In-stock products may be ready to ship within 1–2 business days, while special-order and custom products require additional production time. Estimated lead times are provided on applicable product pages or quotes, and our team can confirm current availability before you order. We recommend waiting until the flooring has been delivered and inspected before scheduling installation.

Most flooring orders ship through an LTL freight carrier to residences, businesses and jobsites throughout the United States. Once the shipment reaches the local terminal, the carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment. Standard freight delivery is generally made to an accessible curbside location unless additional services have been arranged. Inspect the shipment before signing, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt, take photographs and contact us immediately if there is a problem.

Warranty coverage varies by product and manufacturer. Many prefinished products include manufacturer warranties covering certain structural or finish-related defects, while unfinished flooring must be inspected for visible manufacturing or milling defects before installation. Installation generally indicates acceptance of the flooring’s grade, color, milling and visible condition. Review the applicable product warranty or contact us for coverage details before purchasing.

Eligible return requests must be made within 30 days of purchase and approved by Pro Hardwood before the material is shipped back. Products must remain unopened, undamaged and in their original manufacturer packaging. Restocking fees may apply, original shipping charges are nonrefundable and customers are responsible for return freight costs. Special-order, custom, closeout, discontinued or opened products are generally not returnable. Moldings, trim, adhesives, underlayment and accessories are also generally not returnable.
